Discover Fetcham Park This Heritage Open Days 2026

On Saturday 12 September, from 10am – 4:30pm, Fetcham Park, our business centre near Leatherhead, will once again open its doors for Heritage Open Days 2026, inviting visitors to explore one of Surrey’s most undiscovered historic houses.

As England’s largest festival of history and culture, Heritage Open Days is a wonderful opportunity to discover remarkable places and stories for free. For clients, colleagues and friends of Parallel House in Guildford, Fetcham Park offers a memorable day out within Surrey, combining architecture, heritage and beautifully preserved interiors.

Located in Mole Valley, a short drive from Leatherhead, Fetcham Park is a striking Queen Anne country house with more than 300 years of history. Built in 1705 and designed by renowned architect William Talman, the house is known for its craftsmanship, period detail and fascinating past.

Today, Fetcham Park is part of our wider business centres group, offering flexible office space, meeting rooms and event spaces, while retaining the character and charm that make it such a special heritage setting.

Step inside one of Surrey’s hidden gems

Visitors will be able to admire Fetcham Park’s elegant 18th-century interiors, including its breathtaking cantilevered staircase, intricate wood carvings and original murals by Louis Laguerre, whose work also features at Blenheim Palace and Chatsworth House.

Every room offers a glimpse into the lives, stories and legacy of those who have called Fetcham Park home.

Explore the gardens

Guests are also invited to enjoy the private grounds, with peaceful lawns, fountains and gardens originally landscaped by renowned nurseryman and garden designer George London.

Bring a picnic, find a spot on the lawn and enjoy the setting at your own pace.

Free exhibition

Displays inside the house will share more about Fetcham Park’s history, the people who built it and the owners who shaped its story over the centuries.

Kate Ainsworth, House Manager at Fetcham Park, said: “Heritage Open Days is all about celebrating community, history and accessibility, and Fetcham Park is honoured to be part of this national event once again. It’s an opportunity not only to connect with the past but to appreciate how historic buildings continue to play an important role in modern life.”
