A warm welcome to Simon Cracknell, our new House Manager
We’re delighted to welcome Simon Cracknell to Parallel House as our new House Manager. With a background spanning hospitality, property management and customer relations, Simon brings a wealth of experience and a personable approach to looking after clients.
At the heart of Simon’s career is a commitment to excellent service. He began his working life with Forte Hotels, progressing from waiter to Hospitality and Catering Manager at a 180-room hotel. Along the way, he was a finalist in the National Waiter of the Year competition in 1991 – an early reflection of his enthusiasm for hospitality and attention to the customer experience.
Simon later moved into property management, holding management positions in sales and lettings before establishing his own residential inventory business, Cracknell Property Services. For more than a decade, he managed the business and its contract team, working with high-end properties across Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Mayfair and Belgravia. This experience developed the practical knowledge, organisational skills and eye for detail that he brings to Parallel House.
More recently, Simon has worked in customer relations within the care sector, alongside an earlier role in activities and wellbeing. These roles have reinforced his people-focused approach: listening carefully, understanding individual needs and helping people feel comfortable and supported.
As House Manager, Simon will draw on this combination of hospitality experience, property expertise and client care to help ensure that Parallel House is welcoming, professionally managed and attentive to the people who use it.
“I’m delighted to join the team at Parallel House. I’m looking forward to creating a welcoming, professional environment where our clients feel supported and have everything they need for a smooth, productive working day.”
Simon’s warmth, practical approach and commitment to service make him a welcome addition to the team. Please join us in welcoming him to Parallel House – we look forward to introducing you when you next visit.
